According to the collected and analyzed climate data for November 2023, moderate to highly favorable weather conditions for the breeding and development of malaria mosquito vectors were observed over the western and southern half of Ethiopia; Such as most parts of Kelem and west Wollega, Illuabobora, Guji, Jimma, Buno Bedele, and Borena zones of the Oromia region, Assosa, Kamashi, and Mao Komo Sp. zones in Benshangul Gumuz, Dawa, Shabelle, and Liben zones in Somalia regions, and South Omo and Gedeo in south Ethiopia regions. Whereas, low favorable conditions were observed over western Somalia, the rest parts of Oromia, south Ethiopia, Central Ethiopia, south-west Ethiopia, eastern Gambela, most of Benshangul Gumuz, Itang Sp.Woreda and Agnewak zones of the Gambela regions and Sidama regions of the country
